What are Bitcoin signals?

One alert. A defined trade idea.

Bitcoin signals are buy or sell setups for BTC, with an entry condition, a stop-loss or invalidation level, and take-profit targets. Bitcoin Signals focuses on BTC/USD: Bitcoin quoted in US dollars, also written as BTCUSD.

A useful alert connects those levels to a market view. Is Bitcoin breaking out of a range, pulling back into support, or rejecting resistance? That context explains the setup and when it stops making sense.

Start with the Bitcoin price chart for the broader move, then use our Bitcoin technical analysis framework to understand the structure behind an alert.

How it works

Three steps to understanding a setup.

A focused workflow for reviewing market setups without handing over control of your account.

What you get

Every alert includes the full trade plan.

Not a vague tip. A structured setup with the invalidation shown alongside the potential targets, so you can evaluate the risk before taking any action.

  • Exact entry price (or range)
  • Pre-calculated stop-loss
  • Three take-profit targets (TP1 / TP2 / TP3)
  • Direction, timeframe, and setup status
  • Follow-up status when the setup changes

Buy and sell signals explained

The direction is only the beginning.

Bitcoin buy signals

A buy setup looks for an upward move, such as a breakout that holds above resistance or a pullback that finds support. The entry condition identifies the trigger; the invalidation level identifies where that bullish idea fails.

Bitcoin sell signals

A sell setup looks for a downward move, such as a rejected rally or a break below support. A short trade also depends on the product you use: selling existing spot Bitcoin and opening a leveraged short are different actions.

A Bitcoin signal example

Imagine a hypothetical long entry at $80,000, a stop at $79,000 and a first target at $82,000. The price risk is $1,000 per BTC and the first target is $2,000 above entry: a 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio before fees, funding and slippage. For 0.01 BTC, those distances correspond to $10 of price risk and $20 of potential upside. These are illustrative numbers, not a current signal or a recorded result.

The BTC/USD position-size calculator lets you explore the relationship between stop distance and size. Our methodology explains the setup lifecycle, and closed results is the place for completed records when available.

Price alerts or trading signals?

“Bitcoin has crossed $80,000” is a price alert. “Buy if the breakout holds, with this entry, invalidation and targets” is a trading signal. The first tells you where price is; the second describes a plan. Bitcoin Signals is built around the setup and its status.

Bitcoin signals FAQ

Know what the alert means.

What are Bitcoin signals?

Bitcoin signals are trade ideas for BTC that combine a buy or sell direction with an entry condition, a stop-loss or invalidation level, and potential targets. A complete signal also gives the timeframe and setup status.

Are Bitcoin signals the same as Bitcoin price alerts?

A price alert tells you that Bitcoin has reached a chosen price. A trading signal adds a directional setup, an entry condition and a plan for invalidation and targets. A price crossing alone does not supply that full plan.

Do Bitcoin Signals alerts place trades for me?

No. Bitcoin Signals presents BTC/USD setups in the app. You choose whether to act, the trading venue and the position size; the app does not execute orders for you.

Does a Bitcoin buy signal guarantee that price will rise?

No. A buy signal describes a scenario that may fail. The stop-loss or invalidation level explains where the idea no longer holds, while the targets describe potential exits.

Plain talk

What we don't do.

A clear boundary around what Bitcoin Signals does—and what remains your decision.

✕

We don't promise 100% wins.

Markets are uncertain and losing setups happen. Past results never guarantee a future outcome.

✕

We don't trade your account.

You stay in control. We send the alert, you decide whether to take the trade. Your money never touches us.

✕

We don't push leverage.

The app shows setup context, but position size and leverage remain your responsibility.

✕

We don't guarantee signal frequency.

Alerts appear only when a BTCUSD setup meets the product's conditions. Some periods may be quiet.
